He found a rock at the edge of the solar system and sat down to look at everything he came from.

The Earth hangs in the upper left — large, blue, unmistakably home. Saturn floats to the right of it, rings intact. Jupiter below, smaller. A moon further right, darker. The galaxy behind all of them stretches across the full disc in deep blue, purple, and red nebula, star-scattered from edge to edge. In the lower right, a natural wood formation rises from the disc like an asteroid or a cliff — and an astronaut sits on its edge, legs out, looking at the Earth the way someone looks at a photograph of a place they have not been back to in a long time.

He is not floating. He is sitting. That is the difference. This is not a lamp about exploration. It is a lamp about the moment after — when you have gone far enough to see everything at once, and you stop, and you just look.

Each lamp is made by hand in Hanoi, Vietnam. The planet figures — Earth, Saturn, Jupiter, moon — and the astronaut are positioned inside the circular resin mold at different depths before the galaxy layers are poured around them. The natural wood formation is a real piece of wood, shaped and inlaid into the lower right of the disc so the astronaut sits at the exact point where the wood meets the resin. Because every piece is handmade, the exact galaxy spread, the position of each planet, and the wood grain formation are never identical. What arrives is the only one built exactly this way.
