A complete reef, sealed inside a circle of wood and resin.

Five jellyfish drift through the water at different heights — pink, green, purple, teal — each one trailing its tentacles in a different direction. Below them: a purple lionfish hovering above green anemone, a clownfish moving through the coral on the right, sea plants in every color growing from the rocky floor, a brain coral sitting at the very base where the light is brightest. The natural wood frames the left and lower sides, dark and striated, the rock formations on both sides white and detailed. When the lamp comes on, the jellyfish glow first — each one a different color from the one beside it — and the reef beneath them fills in from the base upward.

This is the most colorful lamp in the collection. Every element was chosen for what it contributes to the whole: the jellyfish for movement, the lionfish for drama, the clownfish for familiarity, the coral for the foundation everything else rests on.

Each lamp is made by hand in Hanoi, Vietnam. The jellyfish, lionfish, clownfish, anemone, and coral are positioned inside the circular resin mold at different depths before the layers are poured around them — the jellyfish scattered through the water column, the reef built up at the base with real detail. The wood is shaped into the disc form, chosen for its grain, fitted into the resin on both sides. Because every piece is handmade, the exact position of each jellyfish, the color spread of the reef, and the light scatter through the disc are never identical. What arrives is the only one built exactly this way.
