Two divers. A canyon of rock and wood. Nothing else between them and the bottom.

The walls of this canyon are built from natural stone and wood grain — dark, textured, the kind of rock face that takes centuries to form. Small green plants grow from the cracks where light barely reaches. Between those two walls: open water, pale blue, and two divers descending in the same direction at different depths. One above, one below, both moving downward into water that has no visible floor from here.

There are no fish in this lamp. No coral, no creatures, no distractions. Just the canyon, the water, and the two people who decided to go in together. That absence is intentional. Some dives are not about what you see. They are about where you go and who goes with you.

Each lamp is made by hand in Hanoi, Vietnam. The two diver figures are positioned inside the circular resin mold at different depths — one higher, one lower, both oriented in the same direction — before the layers of clear resin are poured around them. The rock formations on both sides are detailed and textured. The natural wood grain forms the outer canyon wall behind the rock on both sides. Because every piece is handmade, the exact position of each diver, the texture of the canyon walls, and the wood grain of the disc are never identical. What arrives is the only one built exactly this way.
